| ALAIN DUBREUIL Researcher Alain Dubreuil has worked for over 23 years with the Department of Natural Resources Canada as a researcher, including more than 15 years in the environmental and lifecycle analysis area. During this period, he represented Canada on the Management Committee of the United Nations Environment Program’s Life Cycle Initiative. He was involved in the development of ISO 14000 series of standards (environmental management). He initiated the development of a technical paper on how to analyze the lifecycle of a vehicle component. Experts from industries such as aluminum, steel, magnesium, plastic, composite and automotive helped prepare the document. The technical report is available from CSA Group. Alain Dubreuil earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Université de Montréal and received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Metallurgy from the École Polytechnique de Montréal. He is a member of the Quebec Order of Chemists and Quebec Order of Engineers. |
