NICOLAS DALMAU

Alcoa
Mr. Dalmau joined Alcoa in 2005 as Director of Energy. His responsibilities then included energy procurement, efficiency and regulation. He was appointed to the Alcoa Canada Global Primary Products board of directors in October 2009 and was charged with the additional duties of overseeing strategic corporate development in May 2010, government relations in March 2013 and communication and public affairs in January 2014.
Before arriving at Alcoa, Mr. Dalmau was responsible for managing natural gas procurement, transport and storage contracts at Gaz Métro. He also held management positions at Boralex and Air Liquide, where he was in charge of energy issues.
Mr. Dalmau is a member of the board of directors of the Quebec Power Consumers Association, of which he was the chairman from 2011 to 2014. He is alos a board member of the Industrial Gas Users Association.
Mr. Dalmau holds a bachelor’s in economics and international trading from École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montréal. |
